FAJUB – Federation of Youth Associations of Braga is an organization that politically represents the youth associations of the District of Braga both locally, nationally and internationally. FAJUB intends to highlight the importance of the role of associations in the non-formal education of young people from Braga to develop the youth movement in the region. Through the training and development of youth associations, a future with more options is sought, a demonstration and promotion of youth entrepreneurship, individual and associative with communities and populations.

Vimercate is an Italian city with 26156 inhabitants, 23 km far from Milan, in Lombardy Region. The COVID-19 crisis has dramatically affected lives in Vimercate, in particular in Lombardy region, when the pandemic situation started even before other regions in Italy. Italy itself has been one of the most hit Country in Europe and the pandemic has deepened pre-existing inequalities, particularly gender inequality, at local, regional and national level. Furthermore, the City of Vimercate, thanks to its EU Projects&Funds office dedicated to EU project management has a proven experience with EU projects aiming at stimulating local debates to tackle the environmental problems that today cast a long shadow over the use and consumption of plastics. In this regards, Vimercate is committed in raising awareness in local population on Covid-19 crisis effects in the democratic debate, the enjoyment of fundamental rights and the work and life balance of women.

In our years of operation, we have been actively involved in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects at the European and national level under different thematic areas and specific topics such as entrepreneurship, ICT, social innovation, climate change (facilitating green transition & growing energy), social inclusion etc. We are in a position to undertake the development of the dissemination, communication, and exploitation strategy. This expression of local democracy assures the efficiency and pertinence of the actions conducted. CBE is also a EUROPE DIRECT centre, official network from the European Commission, which promotes the European values and benefits to citizens.
