The Transnational Topic-Based Group Discussion for the project HEARD took place yesterday in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. The main aim of the event was to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on:

? Democratic debate

? Human rights in general

? Women's rights in particular

The discussion was joined by experts in the given fields as well as representatives from HEARD?s partner organizations who came to Novo Mesto from countries such as Portugal, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Greece, Bulgaria, France and Cyprus. The discussion presented a variety of perspectives and expert opinions and gave a platform to all participants to express their individual conclusions based on data gathered from the citizens in their local communities.
